Audition for "SYNERGY: Dance 3 CE"

The course will follow the State Dance 3 Curriculum and the UVU Concurrent Enrollment Curriculum. Registering for CE is $5 per credit hour and is done through UVU Concurrent Enrollment website.  Credit is transferable between colleges and high looked upon when applying for the Dance Sterling Scholar and Dance Scholarships in College.  Incoming Sophomores will have to take a test and complete a "sophomore by exception" application if they wish to get the UVU credit.  Taking the class for college credit is optional.

This audition class will provide more opportunities than a regular dance class, but require less time commitment than a school company/team.  Choreography and performance opportunities will include the Homecoming Halftime, the Performing Dance Company Concerts, possible professional guest choreographer, and more.  A t-shirt will be provided with the class fees.

AUDITION: April 24 @ 5:00 PM            Lp Dance Room

AUDITION NOTES:
-Auditions for PDC and Synergy will happen at the same time
-You can auditions for both PDC and Synergy if you wish, and you can be on both
-Clinics are free.  Come to which ever night works with your schedule
-If you make First Cut, you are automatically on Synergy!  If you are not continuing to audition for PDC, you may leave at that time
-You will still need to fill out an audition application, but what you are required to fill out is much less, and you do not need any teacher recommendation forms.
-Wear tight-fitted Lp dance attire-approved clothing, no shoes, hair pulled back
-This audition is to see if you are at the appropriate technical level for the Concurrent Enrollment class.
